Exciting News Regarding Our 5th Grade Health Curriculum!
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are pleased to share some wonderful news about the health curriculum our 5th grade students will experience this year!
Our selected program fully meets all requirements of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and is carefully designed to be age-appropriate for elementary students. It focuses on building positive, healthy habits and equipping students with the knowledge and skills they need to make good choices as they grow.
To help you learn more, members of the Esteem team will be on campus during Meet the Teacher Night on August 10th at 5:00. We encourage you to stop by, ask any questions you may have, view the contents of the student workbooks, and explore everything the program offers. You can also preview materials anytime on the ESTEEM website. https://mercymanor.com/esteem
We look forward to partnering with you in supporting your child’s health and well-being this school year. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions before Meet the Teacher Night.
Warm regards,
Shanna McKelvey
